 Joseph Edelin, M.Ed. is an established educator, with more than 18 years of combined experience as a public school teacher, assistant principal, and provider of professional development. The majority of Mr. Edelin’s career has been spent educating thousands of K-12 students in urban communities throughout the United States, although he has also designed curriculum, coached teachers, and led workshops around culturally relevant and responsive teaching. 

As a result of his enthusiastic teaching style and genuine love for what he does and who he does it for, Mr. Edelin has built countless positive relationships and has left a profound impression on the lives of many of his students. 

Believing that education is the key to liberation, and a better life, Mr. Edelin has dedicated his career to ensuring that black and brown students are given the tools they need to secure their own freedom, through instruction that allows them to see themselves, their history, and their future in their education.
